Where to Find Breakfast at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios
We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but that goes double for a day at Disney. If you don’t eat by 10:00 AM you’re facing a meltdown and possible dehydration.
You will need a game plan for early morning bites when you start to feel cranky. You might even want to bookmark this page on your phone so you can reference it quickly while in the parks.
Much like breakfast at Animal Kingdom, the breakfast options at Hollywood Studios used to be slim. Then Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge moved in and added three more restaurants that serve breakfast. The snack and meal options diverged from the regular Mickey waffles to tasty morning wraps and giant cinnamon rolls.
Best Quick-Service Breakfast Options at Hollywood studios
Trolley Car Cafe
You’re gonna need your coffee fix after attempting to get your boarding group on Ride of the Resistance! Each Disney World park has a fully-functional Starbucks and each Starbucks is under a pseudonym to blend in with the atmosphere. The Trolley Car Cafe is at the end of Hollywood Boulevard and has a full Starbucks coffee and food menu.
Pro-Tip: Every Disney Starbucks accepts Mobile Ordering. It’s highly suggested that you take advantage of this feature here or anywhere else that uses it. It will drastically cut down on your wait and you’ll have more time for rides!
Joffrey’s Coffee
Maybe you want to branch out and try a different type of coffee while on vacation. Joffrey’s Coffee is Disney’s signature brand and it’s brewed anywhere you order a cup of coffee. Joffrey’s kiosks typically offer special snacks like Pumpkin Spice Cold Brews and giant pink doughnuts that can easily be shared with a few people.
The coffee stands are scattered around Hollywood Studios in four locations. You can find a kiosk on the corner of Hollywood and Sunset Boulevard, the exit of Tower of Terror, by Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and the last is at the entrance of Toy Story Land.
ABC Commissary
Calling all Keto friends! ABC Commissary is home to the decadent Breakfast Charcuterie Platter. What’s fancier than munching on smoked salmon, cured salami, capicola ham, and assorted cheese? If you could care less about carb-intake, indulge in the fried chicken and cinnamon-sugar doughnuts!
The Commissary has seen some necessary updates in the last few years and the menu has improved a lot too. It also boasts indoor air-conditioning and is rarely crowded in the morning. Those two factors make it a better quick-service choice than others.
Woody’s Lunch Box
I’m very happy to announce that Woody’s Lunch Box now serves sizable breakfast choices! This is where you can find the hearty Breakfast Bowl complete with tater tots, country gravy, eggs, and green onions. Those of you with a sweet tooth can opt for the S’more French Toast sandwich or the famous Chocolate-Hazelnut Lunch Box Tart. The tart is inspired by a Pop-Tart, but the pastry is fresh, flaky, and delicious.
Pro-Tip: Woody’s Lunch Box is a crowd-favorite for breakfast and lunch. The seating here is extremely limited. I suggest grabbing your food and heading out of Toy Story Land to enjoy it.
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
Feeling famished after defeating the First Order? Docking Bay 7 is the best quick-service restaurant in Galaxy’s Edge. When the two suns rise, they are serving galactic goodies like giant Mustafarian Cinnamon Rolls and Tugg’s Overnight Oats.
For big eaters, you can order the Bright Suns Breakfast Platter that comes with three-cheese egg bites, pork sausage, potato hash, and a mini Mustafarian Cinnamon Roll.
Plus, Docking Bay’s indoor atmosphere is detailed with Star Wars Easter eggs!
Milk Stand
Many guests are unaware that the Milk Stand known for providing Blue and Green Milk also serves breakfast snacks. Here, you can fill up on Green Milk Bread Pudding, plant-based yogurt, and Saka Egg Bites made with tomato sauce and feta. The portions are big enough to give you some energy, but not heavy enough to make you want to curl up and take a nap next to a Droid.
Don’t forget to take advantage of Mobile Ordering at the Milk Stand! The line for Blue Milk is usually excruciatingly long and placed directly in the sun.
Ronto Roasters
Ronto Roasters is run by a pitmaster droid in the market and also where you can find some morning sustenance. The Ronto Morning Wrap is filled with eggs, sausage, cheese, and peppercorn sauce piled inside a grilled pita bread.
Not feeling like you want to eat fresh Ronto? Then go for the many other breakfast options like the chicken wrap or snack samplers.
P.S. Ronto is actually just sausage. You don’t have to be afraid of eating strange meat here!
Best Table Service Breakfast Options at Hollywood Studios
Hollywood & Vine (Reservations Available at 8:00 AM Before the Park Opens)
Fair warning, grown-ups! Hollywood & Vine hosts breakfast character dining and most characters are from Disney Junior. This won’t be a problem if you feel like you would enjoy interacting with characters like Vampirina and Sofia the First.
They also serve a mean Bloody Mary and Mimosa during this time. Why not start your day off with a little champagne and photo ops with the characters? As for the menu, the buffet serves your morning essentials like sausages, bacon, potatoes, Mickey waffles, pancakes, and also hosts an omelet station.
Pro-Tip: If you snag a reservation time for 8:00 AM (before the park opens) it doesn’t mean you have an advantage for getting on the rides first. It may even put you at a disadvantage. You might finish your dining experience in 45 minutes, but you have to account for seating and service delays. Guests planning on trying to rope dropping any rides should nix the early morning reservations.
Oga’s Cantina
Let me set a scene for you. You get up at 6:00 AM and catch a bus to Hollywood Studios by 7:00. You get to the entrance by 8:00 and wait patiently for the Cast Members to set you free into the park. You rush to Galaxy’s Edge where you wait (yet again) for the park to officially open at 9:00 AM. You have My Disney Experience open and ready to book your boarding group for Rise of the Resistance.
Success! You snagged group #43. You head to Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run and blast through hyperspace. After all that action, you’re ready for a strong drink. Sure, it’s close to 10:00 AM, but I mean, you’re on vacation! No one’s here to judge!
Thank goodness you booked a breakfast reservation at Oga’s Cantina. You head to the moody bar where DJ Rex is playing your favorite cantina tunes.
You order a decadent Mustafarian Cinnamon Roll or settle for a light meal of Rising Moons Overnight Oats. Then you wash it all down with a Spiran Caf (a mix of coffee, orange marmalade, rum, whipped cream, and citrus zest.) Or maybe you opt for a Black Spire Cold Brew Coffee.
The scene I set for you is why I think Oga’s is the best place to grab a quick breakfast snack and a strong latte. It’s an immersive restaurant experience that satisfies Star Wars enthusiasts and casual fans alike. The drinks are fantastic too!
