Best Hotels Near Disneyland for Your Couple’s or Group Vacation
There is so much to do, see and eat at Disneyland Resort and we encourage at least one adults-only trip in your lifetime. Whether you head to Disneyland as a couple or perhaps on a girls’ trip, we have some Good Neighbor hotel recommendations for you!
My mom and I are notorious for traveling together. We share the same undying love for Disney and we have the same vacation goals: good food and cocktails. It’s hard for either of us to travel without the other and over the years we became a Disney travel team. I don’t have kids and I’m her youngest child at age 29. We’re pretty much experts at adults-only Disney trips.
Helpful Disneyland Resources
What’s a Disney Good Neighbor Hotel?
For this roundup, I collaborated with my friends at Get Away Today who are THE experts when it comes to hotels near Disneyland. You won’t find a better resource for discounted Disney hotel and ticket packages. We came up with a wide variety of “Good Neighbor hotels” that are suitable for adults-only trips like honeymoons, anniversaries, or if you’re traveling with a group of friends!
Disney Good Neighbor Hotels are independent hotels and chains that have partnerships with the company. While they’re not owned by Disney, they allow you to book ticket or hotel packages through Disney. Most hotels provide a Disney Desk, which is a ticketing service staffed by Disney Cast Members. Just be aware that even though Disney trusts the hotels in terms of quality, this doesn’t mean they reach Disney’s level when it comes to service. This is merely a business partnership, after all!
Good Neighbor Hotels for Couples
Whether you’re seeking a romantic getaway, celebrating your honeymoon, or recreating the magic on your anniversary, you need an oasis to escape to every night. For the ultimate couples’ trip to Disneyland, check out these Good Neighbor hotels that include perks such as proximity to Disneyland, on-site dining, pools and luxurious King beds.
The Anaheim Hotel
The Anaheim Hotel is the best hotel for an adults-only trip to Disneyland. I can’t gush enough about it. I’m almost too scared to talk about it publicly because I feel like it’s my own private resort. It’s fairly affordable and has an adorable 60s beach party vibe. They pipe Frank Sinatra throughout the hotel and have a swanky lounge in the lobby. If you’re familiar with Universal Studios Orlando’s Cabana Bay, it has a similar theme to this hotel. They also have a Pizza Presse restaurant connected to the hotel for breakfast and lunch/dinner options! The pool is the best I’ve seen in the Disney area for adults.

Bottom Line: What hotel is best for your adults-only trip to Disneyland?
Choosing a hotel is the hardest decision you’ll make when planning your Disneyland trip. With so many options, how do you know which one will be right for you?
Try this: choose what is most important to you. Is it walking distance to the parks? Price? A nice pool?
Unfortunately, it’s very difficult to find a “cheap” hotel within walking distance and has a nice pool. However, if you adjust your budget a bit you can definitely find something that you’ll love! Otherwise, choose a hotel farther away from the park entrance. You will have to get up earlier to make your way to Disneyland, but you’ll have a few extra dollars to spend on churros!
